Airplanes are safer in the sky (Purpose of Life) - Coaching SOS Series (Part 6)

Why would you trust an aeroplane to take you to your destination if it were to run on wheels all along the highway. I won't really trust it on water either. I would only trust an Airplane when it delivers on its purpose and meaning, i.e. to safely fly high up in the sky and take me to my destination in the shortest time possible.
And as is true with airplanes, so is true for each little thing around us. Let us pick up, a light bulb, for instance, it is really of no use being lit up on a street at a time when the sun is showering all its light & glory on that very street. But the same light bulb can be your source for better sight at night. So, a thing as simple as the light bulb also exists to serve a purpose.
Now, let me ask you a life-changing million-dollar question:
or better still,
Most of us come by, live as per the society, become a part of the rat race, and pass along. Are you one of those? I would really hope not. But I won't be surprised if you told me otherwise.

You ask - "Coach, What do you mean by 'Purpose'?"

WOW! Now, that is a great question. And, I will try and answer that in the simplest way possible. Let us first explore some insights from great thinkers of all times and how they hint at what purpose really is:

"In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years."
~ Abraham Lincoln

"Efforts and courage are not enough without purpose and direction."
~ John F. Kennedy

"The purpose of life is a life of purpose."
~ Robert Byrne

"The purpose of our lives is to be happy."
~ Dalai Lama

"If you're alive, there's a purpose for your life."
~ Rick Warren
As you read all of the above, your mind is trying to connect all the dots, and comprehend a meaning to your Life.  Each great person or thinker on this planet has talked about a meaning and purpose of life.
The easiest way to figure out if you are living your purpose is to understand if you are happy in your life. If you are living your purpose, your mission will give you your happiness. Else, you may come up with answers like - 'Maybe', 'sometimes', 'Happiness isn't for me'! Catch yourself, and don't fall into this trap of pessimism. Your purpose exists, and it exists within you!
Often, we hear people complain of Life not being fulfilling. Well, how will it be fulfilling if you don't answer to your hearts' desire! Look inside you to find the answer. Spend some time in your own company and ask if you are happy with how you are spending your life most of the days?
Vacations are not supposed to mean break from work, rather a vacation is supposed to act as a source of rejuvenation and change of environment. But it is just too often that I hear people taking a vacation to break from work.
Your work is an important dimension of your life. An average person spends more than half his life time working. So it is definitely important to enjoy the work you do.

You ask- "How do I find my Purpose?"

How do you find this clarity, this purpose in life - By believing in yourself, and understanding - what it is that. if you do, will never bore you!
Introspect around what is the promise you would like to deliver on, if no one else was keeping track!
Life is passing by every moment. Are you living your life worth your while?
Create a road map yourself or get professional advice on how to create one, and follow it. No matter how much time has already gone by, you can still make the remaining bit of your life fulfilling and meaningful. Find your purpose, live your purpose and be remembered for it!
Life has a plan for you, are you ready to live your full potential?

Living my Life Purpose

It is really not that hard, to figure out, what you want, once you have decided you are going to find it.
"Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated."
~ Confucius
Scores of people have walked this earth before you, and many more are walking besides you whom you can tell are living their life with purpose. I, Coach Akanksha, walk with them too, as i have found my purpose and coach people, from all around the world, to create a more meaningful, successful and purposeful life. And I can't describe just how wonderful it is when you look forward to each day with the next big plan on your mind that you want to put into action. Each day seems like an opportunity and you know, in your heart, that you are on the right track!
Live your purpose, live a fulfilling healthy happy life and be remembered for good. A word of caution would be to tell you that - Each person has their own purpose; you can't be happy living mine, and I can't be happy living yours.
Just like Airplanes are safer in the sky where they are serving their rightful purpose, you too will shine bright when you answer to 'your' life purpose.
Find your purpose and experience Life in a whole new light!

'Effortless Doing' - Following your passion and Doing what you love

Wei Wu Wei - Effortless Doing. Don't we all want to get into that zone of effortless doing. When our work and actions become effortless. Often times, we find this concept most difficult to achieve in our professional lives.

We grow up watching the people in our life struggling to make ends meet, and we then believe that this is what we have got to do too. These people we observe, many-a-time were stuck in jobs that they did not like, and with people who did not value them. You saw that they were often unhappy or cribbing whenever someone picked up the topic of their job or career. And since you saw too many people do this, you made the inference of it being the 'OK' thing to do.
But then you grew up! You started your own professional career and at the beginning, you were excited about this new start. You had so many brilliant ideas, and you wanted to make it big. Eventually, you started observing behavior patterns of people around you, and you instantly drew a similarity. Al…
